Seahawks post-OTAs 53-man roster projection

Considering the Seattle Seahawks finished OTAs yesterday, it’s time to take our first swing at projecting their 53-man roster they’ll reach on the final roster cutdown day, Sunday, August 30th. They still have 91 players under contract for the 2026 season, 44 each on offense and defense plus three special teamers- meaning they’ll need to cut at least 38 to get down to the active roster limit before building their practice squad. Here’s an idea of how it could look, first with offense by position group, followed by the defense and special teams.

Offense (28)

Quarterback (2)– Sam Darnold, Drew Lock

Running Back (4)– George Holani, Jadarian Price, Emanuel Wilson, Kenny McIntosh

Fullback (2)– Brady Russell, Robbie Ouzts

Tight End (4)– AJ Barner, Elijah Arroyo, Eric Saubert, Nick Kallerup

Wide Receiver (6)– Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, Tory Horton Jr., Jake Bobo, Emmanuel Henderson Jr

Offensive Line (10)– Charles Cross, Grey Zabel, Jalen Sundell, Anthony Bradford, Abraham Lucas, Josh Jones, Christian Haynes, Olu Oluwatimi, Beau Stephens, Amari Kight

Defense (22)

Defensive Line (9)– Lenoard Williams, Byron Murphy II, Jarran Reed, Rylie Mills, DeMarcus Lawrence, Derick Hall , Uchenna Nwosu, Dante Fowler Jr
