NASCAR points standings, Cup Series Chase points update after Michigan race

Denny Hamlin cut well into Tyler Reddick’s NASCAR Cup Series points lead after winning on June 7 at Michigan.
Hamlin started at the rear following unapproved adjustments and drove up to the front, avoiding the carnage at an unusually-wild race at the 2-mile track. Reddick’s day ended with a crash on Lap 82, finishing 35th (his first DNF of 2026).
Bubba Wallace’s third-place finish was a boost to the No. 23’s points situation after struggles in May, including a DNF last weekend in Nashville.
