Kentucky women's basketball hosting Clemson in 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge

Kentucky women’s basketball will face Clemson in the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge.

Kenny Brooks‘ Wildcats are set to see Shawn Poppie’s Tigers on Dec. 3 at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington. The time and television designation for the matchup have not yet been announced.

Kentucky is 2-1 in the ACC/SEC Challenge since the battle between the two conferences started in 2023.

The Wildcats picked up a 64-48 road win at Miami in last season’s challenge. During the 2024-25 season, Kentucky fell to North Carolina 72-53 in a ranked matchup in Chapel Hill. In the inaugural challenge, the Wildcats beat Boston College 83-81.

The only other Kentucky game that has been announced for the upcoming season is against in-state rival Louisville. The two teams will play each other Dec. 9 at Rupp Arena. Kentucky defeated Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center last season, 72-62, but the Cardinals have picked up the past two wins in Lexington.

The Wildcats went 25-11 overall and 8-8 in conference play last season. They made their way to the Sweet 16 before falling to Texas in Fort Worth.

Clemson went 21-12 overall and 11-7 in ACC play last year. The Tigers fell to Southern Cal in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
