Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Friday secured for himself yet another prestigious individual award.
This comes amid confirmation that the Spanish international has beaten out the competition to the prize for La Liga Player of the Season 2025/26.
Wide-man Lamine is of course fresh off another spectacular campaign on the domestic front, giving rise to a 2nd successive La Liga title for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.
Along the way, the 18-year-old racked up 28 appearances, from his berth on the right flank.
And Lamine went on to directly contribute to a goal per game, courtesy of a haul of 16 goals and 12 assists. Not only that, but the winger continued to light up the Spanish football landscape courtesy of sensational touch, dribbling, and vision.
On Friday, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of Lamine being aptly rewarded.
As per a statement across La Liga’s website and social media platforms, the Barcelona prodigy has been named the division’s Player of the Season.
