What a weekend for the Las Vegas Aces. Just one day after beating the Phoenix Mercury 106-58, they fell to the Indiana Fever.
The Aces couldn’t carry over the momentum from Saturday’s historic 48-point victory over the Mercury, suffering a lopsided 109-75 loss to the Fever at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
Indiana controlled the game from the opening quarter and never looked back, handing the Aces their second loss to the Fever in about a week.

With Lisa Leslie and Dawn Staley sitting courtside, the Aces-Fever matchup featured plenty of star power both on and off the court.
The moment Aces fans have been anxiously waiting for happened on Sunday night — Dana Evans was back in the game for the first time this season after being out with an injury since earlier this year.
Indiana jumped out to an early lead and controlled the game behind a balanced offensive attack, while the Aces struggled to keep the pace on both ends of the court. The loss marked another setback in the Aces’ season series against the Fever, while Indiana continued its strong play against the defending champions.

Becky Hammon Will Be A Head Coach For The WNBA All-Star Game
A few days ago, the Aces announced that their head coach, Becky Hammon, will be a head coach in the WNBA All-Star Game.
“See ya in Chicago, @officialbeckyhammon! After tonight’s win, Becky Hammon will be a head coach at the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game,” they wrote in an Instagram caption.
Many Aces fans took to the comments to share their excitement, leaving fire emojis, hands up emojis, and congratulatory messages.
‘Life In The W’ Will Feature A’ja Wilson
Mark your calendars for July 24 when the new ESPN Original Series, “Life in the W” airs. Aces star A’ja Wilson will be one of the three WNBA players the series follows.
“New ESPN Original Series, ‘Life in the W’ follows the 2025 WNBA season through the eyes of Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson, Minnesota Lynx’s Napheesa Collier and Phoenix Mercury’s DeWanna Bonner as they juggle basketball, love, family and negotiations surrounding a new Collective Bargaining Agreement,” ESPNW shared on Instagram.

The Aces have some time before hitting the road for a game on July 20 against Toronto Tempo. On Wednesday, July 22, they’ll face the Washington Mystics in Washington, D.C. Then it’s time for the AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend from July 23-25 in Chicago.
