Steelers’ Zach Frazier left off ESPN top-10 IOL ranking

In an annual ranking of the NFL’s top 10 interior offensive linemen, Steelers center Zach Frazier was left off the list for 2026.
The ranking, published by ESPN but compiled based on votes from NFL executives, coaches and scouts, didn’t even have Frazier as an honorable mention, although he was listed as having received votes.
It’s worth noting that the ranking was of centers and guards combined, not just one position group. Additionally, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, who authored the article, pointed out that there was a remarkable lack of consensus among the NFL voters. Fowler noted seven guards or centers earned at least one first-place vote.
Cowboys guard Tyler Smith, who earned the first-place spot, was left unranked on some voters’ lists, showing how differently some rank the league’s many interior linemen.
Earlier in July, ESPN’s Ben Solak highlighted Frazier as the Steelers’ top breakout candidate in 2026, writing that the Steelers’ center “might simply be the best offensive lineman still on a rookie contract.” Solak added that of the candidates in his article, Frazier had the best shot at becoming the best at his position in the entire NFL.
Frazier has started 31 games for the Steelers since being drafted in the second round out of West Virginia in 2024. He’s still searching for his first Pro Bowl nod.
