Barcelona players had a first pre-season run-out on Friday night and beat CE Europa 4-1 in a game which saw a host of youngsters feature for Hansi Flick’s side.
The German coach will continue to rely on youth initially in pre-season – with many first teamers still on holiday after the World Cup – giving the players an excellent opportunity to stake a claim for some minutes.
Ebrima Tunkara, Ibrahim Diarra and Alex Gonzalez were all on target on Friday night and all three players look to have very bright future ahead of them at Barca.
Strikers Hamza Abdelkarim and Oscar Gistau will also be hoping to be in the goals in pre-season, while Toni Fernandez and his cousin Guille, Brian Farinas, Xavi Espart, Tommy Marques and Shane Kluivert are all very exciting prospects.
