Texas Tech football lands 3-star offensive lineman for 2027 recruiting class

The Texas Tech football team added another player to its 2027 recruiting class.

Westfield offensive lineman Dontae Perkins has committed to the Red Raiders, Rivals reported Saturday. Perkins is the first offensive lineman in the 2027 class to commit to Tech and the 12th member of the Red Raiders’ growing recruiting class.

Perkins is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals, and held offers from Texas State and Samford. He’s listed at 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds.
