London City Lionesses full-back Pattinson signs new long-term deal

London City Lionesses full-back Poppy Pattinson has signed a new long-term deal with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this afternoon.
The 26-year-old defender has committed her future to London City Lionesses until summer 2029.
Pattinson joined London City Lionesses last summer after leaving former club Brighton & Hove Albion. She went on to make 13 appearances for The Pride in the Barclays Women’s Super League in 2025/2026.
On the international stage, Pattinson has been capped by England on one occasion. That maiden appearance came in the fixture against Ukraine back in March.
Pattinson is an experienced player and she will undoubtedly play a big part for London City Lionesses in the coming seasons.
After signing on again with The Pride, Pattinson said “I’m really pleased to sign a new contract at this club. As a player you want to feel you are at a club where you can still learn and grow, I think I have a lot left in me to do just that. I think the squad has huge potential and I’m excited to be a part of that.
“Last season was a bit of a rollercoaster on a personal level. It started off with an injury which was a new challenge. I came back and then earned an international call-up off the back of that. I’ll always be grateful and never forget that debut came while I was at this club.
“Everyone is really driven to make this the best place possible and as a player you want to continue to do that. We can’t wait for next season.”
Further London City Lionesses squad news will be announced in due course.
