Former waiver wire claim getting notable work in Bengals OTAs

The Cincinnati Bengals sport one of the best wide receiver pairings in the NFL in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. However, the door is open for someone to become a reliable option after those two.
One name that could be on the watch list is second-year receiver Ke’Shawn Williams, who got some work with quarterback Joe Burrow during OTAs last week.
Bengals takeaways OTAs Tuesday:
* Hot, humid day as team stretched indoors but moved outside for practice.
* Erick All Jr., Tee Higgins, Joe Flacco not spotted
* Joe Burrow was tossing to Ja’Marr Chase, Andrei Iosivas and Ke’Shawn Williams as well as TE Mike Gesicki in 7 on 7s

The Bengals claimed Williams off waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers back in December. Williams, who originally signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana, appeared in three games for the Bengals. He caught one pass for five yards and had two rushing attempts for ten yards on offense.
Williams can also make his mark in the return game. He returned nine punts for 95 yards and eight kickoffs for 203 yards in his three games with Cincinnati. In eight games with the Steelers, Williams had 112 return yards on 11 punt returns and 425 yards on 18 kick returns.
Williams will look to unseat Charlie Jones for return duties and for potentially one of the final wide receiver spots on the roster in training camp.
