Phillies announce lineup vs. Padres for today's game

Now owner of the longest scoreless innings streak in Phillies history, pitcher Cristopher Sanchez will continue his pursuit of the major-league record June 3 at Citizens Bank Park.
Sanchez will start against the Padres in the second game of a three-game set. First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. (NBC Sports Philadelphia).
Sanchez’s 44⅔ scoreless innings are presently seventh on the all-time list, which is led by Orel Hershiser’s 59 shutout frames with the Dodgers in 1988.
Sanchez (6-2, 1.47) is poised to eclipse Carl Hubbell’s MLB record for left-handed pitchers, which was 45⅓ innings in 1933 and is fifth all-time.
The Phillies opened the series with a 3-2 win June 2.
Walker Buehler (3-3, 4.88), who spent part of the 2025 season with the Phillies, will pitch for the Padres.
