Fans can pick the top wide receiver in District 10 football this fall

One of the rising positions on the high school football field is wide receiver. High schools around District 10 continue to develop potent passing attacks and as a result, more wide receivers are putting up big numbers.

District 10 had several big-time receivers graduate in the spring, but there is also a talented group back this fall.

Here is a look at five wide receivers back this season and fans can vote which one is the top receiver.

The poll is located below the bios from the five receivers and will run until Friday, July 17 at noon.

Justin Schell, Greenville – Schell has already put together an all-time receiving career in District 10 history. As a junior, he caught 53 passes for 1,012 yards and 15 touchdowns and is primed for a big senior season.

Jadon King-Vincent, Farrell – King-Vincent stormed onto the varsity scene for the Steelers last fall and was a big-time player on offense and special teams. He had 28 catches for 262 yards and three touchdowns on offense.

Jadon Phillips, Hickory – Phillips is looking for a bounce-back senior year after an injury cost him most of his junior season. He had 15 catches for 227 yards and two touchdowns in four games. He recently committed to Kent State.

Cyleim Smith, Sharon – The Tigers were hit hard by graduation, but Smith has the speed and ability to take over as the primary receiver. He had seven catches for 68 yards last fall and is looking for a bigger role this season.

Wyatt Luke, Conneaut – He had a breakout junior season as a playmaker for the Eagles. He finished the year with 18 catches for 205 yards and three touchdowns in just nine games.
