The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their lineup for Sunday’s Freeway Series finale against the Los Angeles Angels.

Both Mookie Betts and Andy Pages get well-deserved days off, and catcher Will Smith will sit as well as he deals with a neck problem. Smith also missed Saturday’s game, though the Dodgers managed a dominant 9-2 win without him.

Who is Pitching For the Dodgers?

Emmet Sheehan gets the ball for LA, and is looking to get a win after a disappointing result last time out. Sheehan threw 6.1 innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 1, and earned a loss after allowing just two earned runs. He struck out three batters in the game as well.

The key for Sheehan in this game is limiting the home run, which has caused him trouble all season long. He has allowed 11 homers so far this season, which matches his season total in 2023 despite pitching fewer innings. The right-hander didn’t struggle with this as much after returning from Tommy John in 2025, giving up just seven through 73.1 innings pitched.

Who is in the Dodgers’ Lineup?

Shohei Ohtani remains at the top of the order for the Dodgers, followed by first baseman Freddie Freeman. Kyle Tucker moves up to the No. 3 spot against a right-hander, and third baseman Max Muncy makes it four lefties at the top of the lineup for LA.

Alex Call takes over for Pages in center field and will bat fifth, followed by catcher Dalton Rushing and left fielder Ryan Ward. Shortstop Miguel Rojas and second baseman Alex Freeland round out the lineup.

Who is Starting for the Angels?

The Angels have their ace on the mound for the series finale: Jose Soriano. Soriano has been the Angels’ best pitcher so far this season, though hasn’t been able to replicate his early-season dominance as of late. He has allowed multiple runs in five of his last six starts, and the Dodgers will look to take control early with a lefty-heavy lineup.
