Deal looks on: Liverpool in initial talks for sensational €100m transfer

Liverpool may have a deal ready to go here. A sensational €100m transfer is on the cards.
Liverpool are underway with their transfer business. It will be slow going, however, as the World Cup delays the usual domino effect of a transfer window.
Still, the Reds are trying to make some things happen and they’ve got a lot to do. High-profile exits coming on the back of a very disappointing campaign under Arne Slot necessitate plenty of arrivals.
One area of concern is unquestionably the wing. Liverpool struggled to produce from wide positions after losing Luis Diaz in 2025, while Mohamed Salah’s departure creates further need for an elite new face.
So that’ll be why Bradley Barcola is such a target. Anfield Watch exclusively revealed back in April that Liverpool viewed the Frenchman as a genuine opportunity this summer.
Now TeamTalk reports that there have been initial talks between Liverpool and Barcola’s camp. This comes shortly after claims that Barcola has told Paris Saint-Germain that he does indeed want to leave the club in search of regular first-team football.
Now, Barcola won’t come cheap, with prices quoted around €100m. He is, however, the kind of calibre that Liverpool need and available to buy. The latter is something that may not be true of Yan Diomande, for instance.
