Jaylahn Tuimoloau’s tenure with the Colts
Tuimoloau was a second-round pick by the Colts in the 2025 NFL draft.
Recapping Jaylahn Tuimoloau’s 2025 season
As a rookie, Tuimoloau had a fairly small role, playing just 215 defensive snaps on the season. He was inactive for a few games as well. Tuimoloau logged 14 pressures on 130 pass rush snaps and 10 total tackles. He played 99 special teams snaps as well.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Jaylahn Tuimoloau
A big opportunity awaits Tuimoloau, who will be competing with Arden Key for the starting role opposite of Laiatu Latu. At a minimum, he will be a regular part of the pass rush rotation.
The experience gained last season, along with having a full offseason to work on his craft while continuing to immerse himself in Lou Anarumo’s defense, can all provide Tuimoloau with a jumping-off point as he heads into Year 2 — something he discussed earlier this offseason.
Key may have a strong track record of steady production, but Tuimoloau has more upside. Him being able to showcase those abilities will go a long way in dictating how good the Colts’ pass rush unit is.
