Good morning, Chargers fans!

Per The Athletic’s Daniel Popper, the Chargers were only missing four players on the first during day one of mandatory minicamp. Linebacker Troy Dye was excused for a personal matter, but a trio of offensive linemen — Trey Pipkins, Alex Harkey, and Isaiah World — were all sidelined with respective injuries.

That’s not a bad showing for the team’s final stretch of practices before they break for summer.

As far as new injuries that occurred during practice, fourth-round pick Brenen Thompson was seen leaving the field with a trainer, but before he hauled in one of the catches of the day from quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei.

We’ll update that injury as it progresses, but otherwise this was a solid first day for all intents and purposes!

And now for today’s links.
