The New York Knicks completed a 29-point comeback in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
It was the largest comeback in NBA Finals history, and it would not have been possible without OG Anunoby. He scored 33 points in 41 minutes, recording four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal, and most importantly, a game-winner. Anunoby came flying in to tip in a shot off the front of the rim by Jalen Brunson to give the Knicks the lead for good.
The Knicks have been on a phenomenal run in the playoffs, and Jaylen Brown was tuned into Game 4. He reacted to Anunoby’s performance and game-winner on X.
“OG Anunoby is different,” Brown wrote on X.
Brown has seen plenty of Anunoby throughout his career. He was previously with the Toronto Raptors and is looking to win his second NBA Championship. In fact, in the 2020 NBA Playoffs, Anunoby hit a game-winning three at the buzzer over Brown to win Game 3 of a playoff series.
The Knicks are now one win away from winning the NBA Finals, and the San Antonio Spurs are staring at a 3-1 deficit.
