Bayern Munich and France star Michael Olise has set a new standard for playmaking at this World Cup as the 24-year-old registered seven assists during the tournament.

Olise set up Kylian Mbappé for two goals during France’s insane 6-4 loss to England in the World Cup third-place game. After falling behind 4-0, France battled back to make it 4-3 in the second half before the 2018 champs ran out of gas and allowed the Three Lions to pull away late.

Now, Olise will turn his focus to Bayern Munich…or maybe to those pesky Real Madrid transfer rumors. Either way, he used the World Cup as a nice launching pad to introduce himself to many people who had not seen him play regularly before.
