Two Husker pitchers were selected in the major league baseball draft. Somehow, the nation’s top shortstop in college baseball, Dylan Carey, was not. Don’t get me wrong, both Carson Jasa and Ty Horn were deserving of their selections. I am flummoxed as to why Carey was not selected (disclaimer: I am not a major league baseball scout). Do you have some thoughts on this? Why did Nebraska’s star infielder get passed over two years in a row?
