During the World Cup, Bayern Munich managed to sign two promising players who performed well at the tournament: Moroccan Swiss army knife Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven and German rising star Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bavarians managed to sign both for below what their former clubs were asking for, yet Bayern president Herbert Hainer maintained a self-imposed rule regarding potential transfers before they were made official.

“Both are very good players, but I’m sure you’ll understand that I won’t comment on potential transfers,” Hainer said at the time (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “We have a very good squad, there’s absolutely no question about that. That’s why, if we do make additions, they will simply be targeted reinforcements, both in attack and in defense.”

With Brown and Saibari now done deals, Bayern must offload some players before making any more transfers.
