Grizzlies beat Bulls as Cam Boozer takes down college rival Caleb Wilson

Cameron Boozer played his first NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas this offseason after playing two games in the Salt Lake City Summer League against the Thunder and Jazz. In Friday’s matchup Boozer faced a familiar foe in Vegas, squaring off against Caleb Wilson and the Chicago Bulls.

Although Wilson may have won the battle, scoring 35 points, a summer league debut record, it was Boozer and the Grizzlies who won the war, downing Chicago 97-96. Boozer finished with a respectable 23 points (7-for-12 shooting) in his own right, to go along with six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.

Boozer and Memphis will take on the Dallas Mavericks in their second summer league matchup, July 13.
