Here are the 2026 football schedules for every LCPS high school team

The 2026 football schedules for Las Cruces Public Schools teams are here.
Las Cruces will aim for another 6A state championship game appearance under coach Mark Lopez after narrowly falling in it last season to Cleveland. The Bulldawgs went 12-1, earning double-digit wins for the third time under Lopez and their best overall record during Lopez’s tenure. Centennial will look to get back to the top of the mountain in its district under coach Aaron Ocampo.
Mayfield and Organ Mountain will enter new eras this year. The Trojans hired former Chaparral coach Joseph Frias, who guided the Lobos to unprecedented success during his tenure in the form of multiple playoff wins across 2024 and 2025, to succeed the retiring Gary Bradley. The Knights promoted Gregory Mallory to their head coaching position, whose Organ Mountain football tenure dates back to 2018. He takes over after former coach Kenny Sanchez resigned.
Las Cruces, Organ Mountain and Centennial are in District 2-6A this year with Carlsbad, Clovis, Eldorado, Hobbs and Volcano Vista. Mayfield is in District 2-5A alongside Alamogordo, Artesia, Chaparral, Deming, Gadsden, Goddard and Roswell.
All games are on a Friday and at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. District games will be noted with an asterisk.

The Bulldawgs will not play rival Mayfield to open the season, as they have in the past two seasons. Instead, they’ll play Rio Rancho to start and take on the Trojans in week three.
