Boumtje Boumtje & Team USA Trounce Japan By 62 In FIBA World Cup Play

The U.S. blew out Japan, 128-66 in FIBA U17 World Cup Play, and Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje unleashed another weapon in his arsenal, blocking 7 shots.
Keep in mind that while Japan has improved, it’s still Japan, and that may be part of the story here. And as it turns out, no one on their side is over 6-6, so that probably explains a lot.
Nonetheless, it’s still an impressive accomplishment. He also shot 7-8 from the floor for 16 points, and had 7 rebounds.
Duke targets AJ Williams and Beckham Black played well also. Wiliams finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and a pair of assists, while Black racked up 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 dimes.
