Andretti linked to young rising IndyCar driver for 2027 season

Andretti Global could be looking at another driver change. With Marcus Ericsson on the hot seat, the organization has been linked to several big-name drivers, such as Felix Rosenqvist. However, could Andretti pull one of its rising IndyCar stars to the organization after one year at Dale Coyne Racing?
Andretti has Dennis Hauger ready to come after being on loan to Dale Coyne Racing if he were their choice to replace Ericsson, as reported by FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass. Hauger is one of IndyCar’s brightest future stars, and he has the potential to win multiple championships with Andretti.
In 2026, Hauger went to Dale Coyne Racing on loan from Andretti for his rookie campaign, and he has been impressive. It would be a great move to bring Hauger to the organization if he is ready. Andretti might have higher goals for a big-name driver, but Hauger is waiting in the wings.
