LSU commit Tatum Drusch wins 2026 American Classic

LSU commit Tatum Drusch is off to the 2026 U.S. Gymnastics Championships after winning the all-around in Saturday’s American Classic. Drusch topped a 13-gymnast field headlined by two-time Olympian Jade Carey and former college stars Katelyn Ohashi and Amari Celestine. Drusch finished fourth on vault, second on bars, first on beam and third on floor.

Drusch’s 53.700 in the all-around beat Carey’s 53.050 and incoming UCLA freshman Zoey Molomo’s 52.700. Molomo and Carey grabbed the other two automatic qualifying spots to U.S. Championships with their finishes. Drusch scored a 13.800 (4.6 D, 9.200 E) on vault, a 13.100 (5.3 D, 7.800 E) on bars, a 13.800 (5.8 D, 8.000 E) on beam, and a 13.000 (5.1 D, 7.900 E) on floor.

The 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will be held August 6-9 at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix. Drusch will be one of many great gymnasts in a packed field as the race to LA28 ramps up. More information on that event will come as the event approaches.
