Predators acquire F Adam Edstrom from Rangers, send AHL player, 5th round pick

The Nashville Predators have made another trade in the 2026 NHL Draft.
After trading up to get Tommy Bleyl on Day 1, the Predators have acquired forward Adam Edstrom from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Massimo Rizzo and pick No. 148 (fifth-round).
Edstrom, 25, was a sixth round draft pick in 2019 by the Rangers. He scored three goals and two assists in 35 games last season.
Rizzo spent last season in the ECHL and AHL, including 13 games with the Milwaukee Admirals. The 25-year-old is a pending restricted free agent this summer.
By trading the No. 148 pick, the Predators are down to nine picks in the 2026 class.
