Port Vale have completed a deal for Tottenham midfielder Matthew Craig, who will join the League Two club on a three-year contract.
Craig, 23, made one Premier League appearance for Spurs as a substitute in May 2023 and has had experience in the English Football League with Doncaster Rovers, Barnsley and Mansfield Town.
He scored once in 24 games for Rovers in the second half of 2023-24, helping the club reach the semi-finals of the League Two play-offs.
Craig stepped up a division in the following season, spending the first half of it with the Tykes, where he made 16 appearances, and the second with the Stags – a spell that brought one goal from six games.
He becomes Vale’s third signing of the summer transfer window following the arrivals of defender Jasper Moon and goalkeeper Jackson Smith.
