FOX ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ show will feature Kansas football’s London game

LAWRENCE — Kansas football’s game against Arizona State this upcoming season isn’t just being played in London, but will be featured by FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” show, too.

The Jayhawks’ matchup is set for Sept. 19. It’ll be the first college football game ever played inside Wembley Stadium. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. (CT), and will be televised on FS1.

“FOX Sports prides itself on being the home of big events, so we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to bring Big Noon Kickoff to the historic Wembley Stadium – home to so many iconic moments in sports,” Jordan Bazant, Executive Vice President, FOX Sports said in a recent KU release. “With Big Noon Kickoff and the Union Jack Classic now woven into that storied legacy, we can’t wait to take our viewers along for this international adventure, and we’re thankful to Brett Yormark, Scott Draper, Travis Goff and Graham Rossini for helping bring this one-of-a-kind event to life.”

Lance Leipold, KU’s head coach, noted: “We’re extremely excited to have FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff come to London to preview the Union Jack Classic. Big Noon Kickoff does an outstanding job of showcasing the pregame pageantry of college football. Having them at the Union Jack Classic will make for a truly special environment as we take on Arizona State in the first ever college football game in the iconic Wembley Stadium.”

This game against Arizona State is the third for Kansas during the 2026 slate. It’ll first play LIU at 7 p.m. (CT) on Sept. 4 at home on ESPNU. It’ll also play Missouri at 7 p.m. (CT) on Sept. 11 at home on FOX.

Kansas is coming off a 5-7 season and a second-straight campaign without a bowl appearance. KU will be looking to regain the momentum it enjoyed with back-to-back bowl games in 2022 and 2023. Which quarterback will start for the Jayhawks when the 2026 season begins will be a lingering question that follows the program all summer.
