Kansas City Chiefs announce 2026 Training Camp schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs will begin training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, for the 16th time in their history on Wednesday, July 29.
NFL training camp is the annual multi-week period in late July and August where teams come together to prepare, install new playbooks, hold contact practices, and train players before the regular season begins. The session is also an intense tryout for some players on non-guaranteed invite deals. The initial 90-man roster must be cut down to the final 53 players.
Though some teams stagger the arrival dates of their rookies and veterans, Kansas City has, in past seasons, had first-year players report to camp at the same time as their more experienced teammates. However, no official announcement has been made. The Griffons’ home has been the Chiefs’ training camp site every year since 2010.
Chiefs open practices begin on Wednesday, July 29, and conclude on Thursday, August 20. All training camp practices will be free of charge to the public unless otherwise noted.
