Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

Good morning.
Shawn McFarland writes that the Texas Rangers earned a win and caught World Cup fever as droves of fans from Scotland brought a unique atmosphere to Fenway in Sunday’s finale.
At MLB dot com, Craig Forde writes that the Rangers staved off a sweep in the finale thanks to a solid outing from Nathan Eovaldi and some early home runs.
McFarland notes that the Rangers lost the two center fielders on the roster to injury over the weekend which will force them to mix and match at the position.
Kennedi Landry writes that do-everything Ezequiel Duran has been the surprise success story for the Rangers so far this season.
McFarland notes that Corey Seager didn’t play in Boston because he’s been dealing with mild concussion symptoms after a collision at home plate in the finale at Kansas City last Thursday.
Zach Crizer writes that, for as flawed as they have been, the Rangers are only a game out of first place in the American League West as the season nears the halfway mark.
And, in his latest mock draft, Mike Axisa foresees the Rangers selecting LSU outfielder Derek Curiel with their first round pick in the upcoming MLB Draft.
Have a nice day!
