Jose Mourinho is going to begin his second tenure as the trainer at Real Madrid on 13th July, the date when preseason training begins for the white team. It is possible that several Merengue players would still be playing in the World Cup by that time, as it ends on 19th July, and even if some of them are eliminated before that date, they would join the camp a bit later, after spending some days on vacations.

As a result, several youngsters in the team would be looking to take advantage of this absence of some of the more established players in the squad to impress the new coach, and feature prominently in his plans for the next season.

According to a report from Diario AS, this is particularly the case with Thiago Pitarch and Franco Mastantuono, both of whom played a significant amount of time with the first team last season, as Mourinho would be closely monitoring them, and make a decision about their futures after this preseason.

The Portuguese manager believes having young players in the squad just for the sake of depth is not the best idea, as it can stunt their growth and development. Thus, a loan for them is not ruled out, but still they remain two special cases for the new Real Madrid trainer.

Therefore, he is set to monitor how they perform in this preseason training, and talk to them before a final decision is made, which would be made only with the consensus of the players themselves, the coach, and the club.

Both the players can prove to be useful next season, as neither the midfield nor the right wing is overflowing with options. But still, keeping in view their youths, a loan away from the club would also be a very good opportunity for both of them to continue growing, and return to make a stronger case for their continued presence at Real Madrid.
