Will Seahawks star JSN be top WR in 2026 fantasy football season?

Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be a top option at the position in fantasy football leagues next season.

Smith-Njigba led the NFL in receiving yards last season with 1,793, but finished No. 2 in total fantasy points in ESPN PPR leagues behind Los Angeles Rams star WR Puka Nacua. He received 163 targets last season in Seattle’s offense, which was 93 more than the 70 that the Seahawks’ No. 2 option Cooper Kupp received, and appears to be in line to have a heavy workload once again in 2026.

According to ESPN Fantasy Football in their projections for the 2026 season, Smith-Njigba is projected to go for 1,569 receiving yards and nine REC touchdowns on his way to 326.56 fantasy points in PPR leagues.

Smith-Njigba is projected to finish behind Nacua (356.75 FPTS), and Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase (336.16 FPTS) at the position next season. Nacua’s rushing yards (106) give him an upper hand over JSN, while Chase is projected to record two more REC touchdowns than the Seahawks’ leading receiver with 11.

JSN is a no-brainer WR1 for fantasy football owners next season. He has the potential to exceed his projections greatly in 2026. However, he may take a backseat to Nacua once again next season as the top WR taken, by and large, in ESPN fantasy football PPR leagues.
