Another high school boys volleyball season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.
This spring, Taunton (9-11, 3-3 Hockomock League) led the way locally, scoring three set sweeps against Durfee, Framingham and Southeastern and beating Dighton-Rehoboth 3-1 in an all-area clash before narrowly missing out on the MIAA Division 1 tournament. Dighton-Rehoboth (4-13), playing as an independent, improved by a win on its 2025 tally while scoring a season sweep of Foxborough Regional Charter and winning two of its final three matches.
Now, with the season in the rearview, cast your vote for the 2026 Taunton Daily Gazette Fans’ Choice Boys Volleyball Player of the Year, with polls open through noon on Monday, July. 27. This poll also will play into deciding the 2026 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Volleyball Player of the Year, with the fan vote accounting for 25% of the Gazette’s final vote.
