Titans release former Georgia Bulldogs OL

The Tennessee Titans have released former Georgia Bulldogs center and offensive guard Trey Hill after he signed a practice squad/futures contract with them earlier this offseason. Hill spent part of the 2025 NFL season as a member of the Chicago Bears’ practice squad.

Along with Hill, the Titans waived/injured defensive lineman C.J. Ravenell. In a pair of corresponding moves, Tennessee signed defensive lineman Jalyn Holmes and center Andre James.

Hill will look to land with another NFL team before training camp. Hill spent the 2021-2024 NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and the 2025 NFL training camp with the Green Bay Packers. He did not make the Packers’ roster in August. He joined the Bears in September, but did not get elevated from the practice squad for any games last season.

Hill has appeared in 25 career NFL games including three starts. The Bengals drafted Hill in the sixth-round of the 2021 NFL draft. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive lineman spent the 2024 season as a practice squad player with the Bengals and was elevated for one game.

Hill played college football at Georgia from 2018-2020 primarily as a center. He is a former four-star recruit from Warner Robins, Georgia. Hill is entering his sixth season in the NFL and was released after minicamp.
