The Patriots added a wide receiver to their roster on Saturday.
They announced that they have claimed wide receiver Kobe Prentice off of waivers. Prentice was dropped by the Panthers on Friday.
Prentice signed with the Panthers after going undrafted out of Baylor in April. He had 26 receptions for 380 yards and six touchdowns in his final college season.
The Patriots waived offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez in a corresponding move. Gutierrez entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos in 2022 and has had stints with a number of teams, including a couple of tours on the New England practice squad. He has appeared in two regular season games.
