Ohio State basketball guard Mathieu Grujicic announces new home

The fifth and final member of the Ohio State basketball team who chose to transfer this past offseason has found a new home. Mathieu Grujicic spent just one season with the Buckeyes before deciding to move on. The 6-foot-7 guard from Europe has committed to Radford University.
Grujicic joined Jake Diebler‘s 2025 recruiting class as a late addition, not joining OSU until June after playing professionally in Spain. However, he never really found his footing in Scarlet and Gray, seeing only 33 total minutes on the year, shooting 1 of 8 from the floor and 3 of 7 from the free-throw line.
Radford competes in the Big South Conference and went 16-16 last season. The Highlanders last made the NCAA Tournament in 2018. It would’ve been nice to see Grujicic stick around a little longer to see what he could become, but it wasn’t to be. The young man was looking for a place where he could contribute immediately, and it didn’t look like Ohio State was going to be that place in the foreseeable future.
