  • Padikkal was given a reprieve during his 89-ball stay when Rhys Mariu dropped him at second slip off Kristian Clarke, whereas Sai Sudharsan’s 104-ball innings has been free of chances.
  • Jaiswal (17 and 5) and Rahul (0 and 4), both expected to open in the Test series starting in the third week of November, got little time in the middle, facing only 77 balls between them in the match, 45 of them by Jaiswal in the first innings.
