Mason Rincon's walk-off HR lifts Bayonne to LLWS debut win

The Bees continue to swarm through uncharted territory.

Bayonne’s 12-year old Little Leaguers kept their perfect summer alive Wednesday night, making a memorable debut on the international stage with a victory in their first-ever Little League World Series game in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The Metro Region champions rallied for a dramatic, 2-1 walk-off win over Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on Aug. 19 at iconic Lamade Stadium to stretch their winning streak to 14 straight games.

Mason Rincon provided the heroics, launching a leadoff, 260-foot home run to dead center field in the bottom of the sixth inning to send the Hudson County charter into the next round.
