Lions-Packers drew more than 24 million in TV viewership

Days after the Detroit Lions‘ (4-2) 20-17 win over the Green Bay Packers (5-3) on Oct. 25, FOX Sports revealed that the thrilling NFC North clash attracted an astounding TV audience.
According to FOX Sports PR, the two division rivals brought in a total viewership count of 24.67 million to watch what FOX titled “America’s Game Of The Week.”

That staggering draw continues to solidify the FOX program as the leader in NFL broadcast viewership through seven weeks of the 2026-27 NFL season.
As for the Lions, their Nov. 1 clash against the NFC North division-leading Minnesota Vikings (6-0) will also air on FOX, with Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews, and Tom Rinaldi on the call from Ford Field. However, that particular divisional showdown will not be “America’s Game Of The Week,” as FOX will not have a game designated with that title for Week 8.
Kickoff between the Lions and Vikings is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Ford Field.
