Roach etched his name into West Indies cricket history by becoming only the fifth West Indian and the second Barbadian to claim 300 Test wickets. He achieved the landmark during the West Indies’ innings victory over Sri Lanka, joining an elite list of Caribbean bowling greats.

Since making his Test debut against Bangladesh in 2009, Roach has been the cornerstone of the West Indies pace attack, earning a reputation for his outstanding control, late swing, and relentless accuracy. Across his illustrious Test career, the 38-year-old has claimed 300 wickets at an average of 28.83, including 12 five-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket match haul, cementing his place among the finest fast bowlers in West Indies cricket history.
