Is Arch Manning related to Peyton and Eli? What to know about the Texas football QB

Arch Manning arrived at Texas as the most highly touted recruit in the 2023 class. Four years later, he is a senior and the Longhorns’ starting quarterback.
Manning committed to Texas in June 2022 after a closely watched recruitment that included Alabama and Georgia. He enrolled at Texas in 2023 and spent his first two seasons as a backup to Quinn Ewers before taking over as the Longhorns’ starter in 2025.
That makes Manning’s Texas story quite different from the one that began with his recruitment. The highly anticipated recruit is now in his senior season at Texas, where he enters the 2026 season with 16 career starts.
