Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open

Tis the season where the best players in the world are in Europe for the Scottish Open-British Open double. This week they’re at the Genesis Scottish Open, where a star-studded field is at the Renaissance Club in a co-sanctioned event between the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.

The field is playing for a $9 million purse with $1.575 million going to the winner. Last week’s winner of the John Deere Classic, Chris Gotterup, is the defending champion in Scotland.

Seven of the top 10 players in the world are in action, starting at the top with Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, who hasn’t finished worse than fourth place here the last three years, including a victory. He and Scheffler each only have one victory this year, but McIlroy’s was a defense of the Masters and Scheffler will defend his Open title next week at Royal Birkdale. Along with McIlroy, Aaron Rai and Wyndham Clark, the other two major champs from this year, are competing.

Robert MacIntyre will have a lot of eyes on him as the top Scot playing. He thrilled his country two years ago when he won his national open here at Renaissance. Padraig Harrington, the U.S. Senior Open champion from last year, and Brooks Koepka are among the sponsor invites. Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton are in the field from LIV Golf as their DP World Tour status allows them to play.

Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
