Here are the Wooster Daily Record's top returning volleyball players

High school volleyball season across Ohio begins on August 17. With that, the Wooster Daily Record names the top returning volleyball players in the Wooster-area for 2026.

Ellie Rohr, Central Christian
Rohr was a Mid-Buckeye Conference First Team players as a junior (63 aces, 341 digs, 229 kills, 284 receptions) who helped lead the Comets to the MBC title and a Division VII district title.
Rory Petit, Chippewa
As a junior libero, Petit led Chippewa in digs (378), while producing 33 aces, 41 assists and 30 total blocks.
Bree Regan, Chippewa
An outside and middle hitter for the Chipps, Regan had 55 aces, 445 kills (1st on team), 362 digs and 234 assists as a junior.
Jaedyn Yoder, Dalton
Yoder, a Division VI All-District Honorable Mention and Wayne County Athletic League Honorable Mention last season, had 232 kills and 93 digs as a junior outside hitter.
Sara Geibel, Dalton
Returning with Yoder is the senior Geibel, who was a Division VI Second Team All-Ohio, the Division VI All-District Player of the Year and a WCAL First Team pick for the 23-4 Bulldogs. Geibel led the team in aces (61), and had 415 kills and 370 digs.
Peyton Lehman, Dalton
The Division VI district champions the last two years also return middle hitter Lehman (42 total blocks, 314 receptions, 371 digs, 52 aces), who made the Division VI All-District Second Team and WCAL Second Team as a junior.
Addi Mast, Hiland
Mast returns to a Hiland team that went 23-2 last season and were Division VI district runners-up. As a sophomore outside hitter, Mast (355 kills, 295 digs, 24 aces) was named as a Division VI Second Team All-Ohio, and named the Division VII All-District Player of the Year and Inter Valley South Conference Player of the Year.
Olivia Miller, Hiland
Miller (455 digs, 433 receptions) was a Division VI All-District First Team and Inter Valley Conference Second Team pick as a junior libero.
Kiki McFadden, Hillsdale
McFadden had 248 kills, 40 aces (1st on team) and 190 digs as a junior outside hitter.
Sophie Shultz, Loudonville
Shultz (307 kills, 77 aces) was a Knox Morrow Athletic Conference First Teamer as a junior middle and outside hitter.
Ella Vermilya, Loudonville
In her sophomore season as a setter, Vermilya (633 assists, 233 digs, 52 assists) was a KMAC Second Team pick.
Maddie Kraft, Orrville
As a freshman outside and middle hitter, Kraft led Orrville with 274 digs, and had 324 receptions and 264 kills.
Faith Lengacher, Smithville
Lengacher produced 534 receptions, 212 kills, 338 digs and 53 aces for Smithville as a outside hitter in her junior season.
Taylor Mathis, Triway
Returning for the Principals Athletic Conference champions (18-7 record), Mathis had a team-leading 854 assists, and put up 96 kills, 59 aces and 27 total blocks as a junior setter. She was named the PAC Player of the Year and a Division V First Team All-Ohio.
Mia Mariola, Triway
Mariola (65 aces, 320 digs, 252 kills, 347 receptions) was a PAC First Team choice as a junior outside hitter.
Tess O’Donnell, Tuslaw
O’Donnell, a junior libero and defensive specialist last season, had 338 digs, 409 receptions (1st on team) and 28 assists for the Mustangs.
Bella Parry, Waynedale
A key returning player for last season’s Division VI district champions is Parry, who added 79 total blocks, 359 kills and 245 digs for Waynedale as a junior middle and outside hitter.
Mallory Marmet, West Holmes
Marmet was a Division VI All-District Second Team and OCC Second Team selection as a junior middle blocker, as she had 127 digs, 211 kills and 37 total blocks for the Knights.
Camrie Wilson, West Holmes
In her freshman season, Wilson (39 aces, 70 digs, 87 assists) was named as a Division V All-District Honorable Mention and OCC Honorable Mention pick as a setter and defensive specialist.
