Harrison Bader aggravated foot injury in scooter accident, per Giants

San Francisco Giants outfielder Harrison Bader was involved in a weekend scooter accident that aggravated his left foot injury, the team announced July 28.

Bader played for the Cincinnati Reds for part of the 2023 season. He has played for seven teams over 10 MLB seasons.

Bader hasn’t played since May 29 because of left plantar fasciitis.

The Giants said Bader met with a foot and ankle specialist July 27 in Indianapolis, but it “was complicated by the fact that he had a scooter accident on Saturday night/early Sunday morning and further injured his same foot.”

The Reds are scheduled to visit the Giants in San Francisco August 24-26.
