Giants' Darius Alexander makes a remarkable play to end Day 3 of camp

New York Giants defensive tackle Darius Alexander has been playing at an extremely high level through the opening stages of training camp in West Virginia.

Alexander was selected by the Giants in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. The talented big man got off to a slow start in his career in New York last season, but he flashed his true potential on numerous occasions across the final six games of the year.

The rising star reportedly stole the show at the end of practice at the Giants’ training camp on Friday. Alexander dropped into coverage and intercepted a pass intended for Odell Beckham Jr. on the final play of the afternoon, surprising many.

Alexander has put his athleticism on full display over the early stages of training camp despite his massive size. The defensive tackle could pick up right where he left off last season in year two, and Alexander will now look to continue turning heads at training camp throughout August.
