Georgia football alcohol sales soar at Sanford Stadium

The Georgia Bulldogs sold over $1.5 million more in public alcohol sales in 2025 compared to 2024 at Sanford Stadium. Georgia had a memorable 2025 home schedule, which featured primetime games against Alabama and Texas.

In Georgia’s seven home games, the Bulldogs had over $4.31 million in public alcohol sales, which was up significantly from Georgia’s 2024 season. In 2024, Georgia totaled $2.79 million in public alcohol sales during the Dawgs’ six-game 2024 home slate. On average, public alcohol revenue totaled $149,711 more per game in 2025 than 2024.

Georgia’s top game in terms of alcohol sales of the 2025 season was Texas, where UGA posted $957,506 in sales. THe Alabama game was not far behind with $942,157 in revenue. The Alabama and Texas games were two of the biggest home games Georgia had in 2025 and both games were at night. The Ole Miss game was not too far behind with $835,882 in revenue, which was the highest of any Georgia game during the day.

Georgia posted between $342,972 and $510,999 in public alcohol sales in each of the rest of their homes games. Georgia began offered alcohol sales to the general public during the 2024 college football season, so it makes sense with more fans aware of the policy change and more big games why 2025 had more revenue.

When Georgia debuted public alcohol sales, beer and hard seltzer prices ranged from $10-12 each. If you assumed Georgia sold each drink for $10, then the Bulldogs sold approximately 430,000 drinks in 2025. That’s a lot of drinks for a 93,033 seat stadium.
