Former Clemson pitcher Jason Fultz Jr. commits to Ole Miss

Former Clemson pitcher Jason Fultz announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Instagram, giving the Rebels another arm out of the transfer portal. Fultz posted the news with a full Ole Miss uniform shoot, complete with the Rebels’ national championship trophy.

“Excited to announce my commitment to Ole Miss,” Fultz wrote. “Thank you to the coaching staff at Ole Miss, my family, coaches, and friends for their support in this process.”

Fultz was one of several Clemson players to enter the portal after a rough season for Erik Bakich’s program. The Tigers have seen plenty of roster movement this offseason, with the staff trying to reload while former players search for better fits elsewhere.

The Rebels have national championship pedigree, SEC competition, and a program that is not shy about giving talented arms a chance to prove themselves. That is the reason you go to a team like that. It’s a chance to jump into one of the toughest baseball leagues in the country and see if the stuff can play.

Clemson’s pitching staff has been part of the larger offseason reset, and Fultz moving on adds another name to the list of Tigers finding new homes.
