Every former Michigan State player set to play in NBA Summer League

The NBA Summer League is an annual showcase across California, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas that gives NBA hopefuls, recent draft picks, and veteran players looking to earn their way back into the league a chance to show their skills to NBA coaches and front office staff. For fans, it’s a place to watch the stars of the future compete in fun, competitive basketball games against high-level players.
For Michigan State basketball fans, it’s also a chance to check-in with former Spartans to see how their basketball games have been developing in the pro ranks. This year, six former Spartans are set to play in the Summer League, and you can see the list of who is playing and for what team below:
- Jase Richardson – Orlando Magic
- Jaden Akins – New York Knicks
- Tre Holloman – Orlando Magic
- Carson Cooper – Memphis Grizzlies
- Jaxon Kohler – Utah Jazz
- Frankie Fidler – Portland Trailblazers
Additionally, Joey Hauser will be getting an opportunity as the assistant coach of the Brooklyn Nets Summer League squad.
