Could Titans add competition for Dan Moore ahead of training camp?

As the days continue to pass by and NFL teams are counting down until training camp, the Tennessee Titans still have some questions they must answer before the season starts.
One of the biggest areas of concern is along their offensive line, where interesting battles at center and right guard will be at the forefront of conversations. The Titans will still have to add some depth behind the starting five, especially at the tackle position, where Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports believes Tennessee could look for some free agent help.
OT Taylor Decker: Titans
The 32-year-old Decker is looking for a new team after spending his first 10 NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions. The Titans would make sense for Decker, who would be an obvious upgrade over Dan Moore Jr., the Titans’ current starting left tackle. It’s fair to wonder, though, if Decker would want to play for a rebuilding team.
But if he is open to going to Nashville, Decker — as he did in Detroit — could be part of another successful reclamation project. The Titans have had a busy offseason that included hiring coach Robert Saleh, signing several notable free agents and drafting some potential stars in receiver Carnell Tate, pass rusher Keldric Faulk and linebacker Anthony Hill Jr.
This is an interesting take, and one that would mirror what general manager Mike Borgonzi did in 2025 with Kevin Zeitler. On top of that, there is the question of Moore’s contract status. While it is true that he didn’t perform at that level in 2025, with another three seasons on the horizon, will Borgonzi be willing to eat that much money going forward? And that is a major hurdle to overcome.
