Harry Kane’s remarkable goalscoring record for England has earned plenty of praise, and former England international Dion Dublin believes the Bayern Munich striker reaching the century mark is only a matter of time.

Kane currently has 87 international goals to his name, putting him within touching distance of a milestone that would further cement his place among the greatest goalscorers in international football history. Dublin, speaking to BetVictor, is convinced the England captain will get there without any problems.

“Harry Kane is on 87 England goals, and if you add my international goals, that’s still 87 between both of us! Listen, what H has done is unbelievable. He’ll get 100, no problem at all, absolutely no problem at all,” Dublin told BetVictor. “I don’t know how he finds those positions, it’s pure instinct. It’s just the quality of Harry Kane’s finishing and his calmness under pressure. As I said about Anthony Gordon’s header, whenever a chance arises for Harry Kane, he knows what he’s going to do.

“He finished with his left foot the other day, changed his feet, slowed himself down, and struck it across the keeper. The guy’s one of the best, if not the best, that we’ve seen in our game.”

Dublin’s comments highlight what makes Kane so dangerous: his exceptional movement, clinical finishing, and composure when opportunities arise. Whether it is a first-time finish or taking an extra moment to create the perfect angle, Kane consistently finds ways to turn chances into goals.

At Bayern Munich, Kane has continued to demonstrate those qualities, and his pursuit of 100 England goals gives him another major milestone to chase as he adds to an already extraordinary international record.
